Taking inspiration from traditional wool suiting, Marvic has created a smart, contemporary take on a pinstripe design. Working with an English specialist woollen mill, Chelsea Stripe features pure new wool with up to seven colours blended to create melange yarns with subtle variation and depth of colour. A specialist drawn finish has been applied, where the surface of the fabric is mechanically brushed with teasels to give a soft handle. This richly textured fabric has a subtle pile and is designed for decorative use where its natural beauty and tactile character can be fully appreciated, making it ideal for window dressings, throws, blankets, pillows and scatter cushions as well as paper-backed wall coverings and occasional upholstery rather than everyday seating.
