Thru his extensive sculptural studies Sean has developed a truly innovative process, implementing wood in a three dimensional mosaic, producing a pattern that is quite iconic. The bespoke pieces in this series are unlike any wooden sculpture ever seen before. Each piece is slowly handmade by Sean; the mosaic grows organically, the wooden elements are woven into a pattern one by one. Requests for custom functions and sizes are encouraged. This wood mosaic can be adjusted to fit specific spaces, and requests for installations : custom benches, chaise lounge, stools, table bases, etc. The organic soft forms and warm woods are ideal materials for seating. Almost any wood can be used, but his favorites are Ash, Black Oak and Maple. Shown in Grey Ash
