Manufacturer  >  Avery Royer

All of the pieces by Avery Royer are custom made in her shop in Wisconsin. Avery, the daughter of highly lauded and award winning commissioned sculptor Henry Royer, has been making furniture with her dad for over a decade.

The standard woods she uses are ash, iroko, mahogany and maple but many others woods are available. Aniline dyes are applied to the wood to give it color, but allow the grain to show through. They only use solid woods--no lamination.

The three types of metal she uses are mild steel in an antique bronze, blackened or copper finish, silicon bronze in its natural state or patinaed for a darker bronze color and a highly polished brushed stainless steel.
